DIY Dab radio
There is a board from Frontier Silicon called Venice 9 (or 5 or 7). It's a Dab/Dab+/FM module that's inside 70% of all Dab-radios. Does anyone know where to buy it? Or do you have to salvage it from an old radio? It looks like it would go great with an Arduino in a DIY Dab...

Re: DIY Dab radio
Silicon Chip used that module in a tuner project recently, the article or their website may tell where to get one. I'll have a look in the magazine later and see if I can find anything

Re: DIY Dab radio
I was searching for Arduino DAB radio shield and end up here. The guys at mp3car forum were busy hacking their own from Venice and also another recent new board here http://www.mp3car.com/hardware-developm ... board.html
Don't think there is any DAB shield yet. The hardest part to crack the module is the proprietor protocol, the guys over at mp3car might have cracked it.
