I recently started using gEDA and so far entering schematics in gschem and outputting for pcb was fairly easy and straightforward.
Does anyone here use gEDA? The layer buttons are supposed to show up as the colors they are used on the board but my buttons always stay gray.
I found the preferences file but the color information is not there. Then I saved a new color scheme from within pcb and those settings will not load. Anyone know of a fix? I've tried different versions and pcb works the same for all of them.
I used my package manager in openSUSE for the installs. I was going to compile from the sources but that stopped me cold because I don't know which file to use with ./configure, make, and make install.
Thanks,
Keith

Re: gEDA pcb color settings
In case anyone else encounters this color problem and you use KDE like me, then you want to check your GTK styles and fonts in the desktop application appearance. You can't have it set to Oxygen, which is what I had set. I switched it and the colored buttons came right up.
