Epoxy Thermistor - Waterproof or Water Resistant?
Is the the epoxy thermistor in the shop (http://www.adafruit.com/products/372) waterproof or just water resistant? The wording of the description and in the tutorial is a little confusing. I built a sous-vide cooker and i am looking for a suitable temperature sensor. It will be immersed in clean, 130F-160F water for up to 24 hours. And I know there is the DS18B20 (http://www.adafruit.com/products/381), but I am poor and lazy. Thanks in advanced!

the thermistor is not intended to be immersed in water, it will -probably- be OK but it just isnt in the spec.
it is also no guaranteed to be food safe
