Hi, folks- I have a Canon Powershot G5 digital camera, c. 2004 vintage.
It has a USB port on it, and I am wondering if anyone knows if the shutter can be controlled via a serial command sent up through that port? If so, can you help me find the USB communication protocol document?
The task is to build a USB host onto an Arduino platform and use it to trigger the camera.
Any help will be greatly appreciated!
Thanks.

You might find some info about CHDK and your camera.
