lion solar battery charger?

im working on a solar mintyboost and i wanted to know: if you had the mintyboost and the battery plugged into the battery charger and you unplugged the solar panel from the solar lion battery charger, will the battery then power the mintyboost or do you have to plug the battery into the mintyboost?

If you unplug the solar panel, the battery will continue to power the MintyBoost.
