Does anyone know how to make polygons in Eagle not do this: http://i.imgur.com/uusxs.png ?
I'm trying to make a giant trace using polygons, so I connected the two pads using a regular trace and then put down a polygon over top of it and named it the same as the net.

Re: Polygons in Eagle
"Change Isolate off"
Edit: (oops. typed too fast, too late. "Change thermals off") "isolate" controls how close polygons get to other tracks. If it's zero (which is different than "off"), the DRC clearance rules will apply. There is some more detailed control for the parameters of these "thermal relief features" in the "Supply" section of the DRC...

Re: Polygons in Eagle
Its also possible that you just don't like the thermals connections? Maybe just do "CHANGE THERMALS OFF" for those polygons. We can't tell what the rest of your circuit board looks like, but if you still decide to turn isolate down to 0 for your polygons, remember to check you haven't inadvertantly got your big-trace-by-using-a-polygon too close to other non same-signal pads/traces.
