Jim Williams exhibit at the CHM (SF Bay Area)

The Computer History Museum has a wonderful tribute to master analog wizard Jim Williams. They've re-created his desk at Linear Technology, stacked high with a profusion of his "dead bug" style experimental creations.

The exhibit is scheduled to end April 15th, but maybe with a few phone calls the CHM could be persuaded to leave it up until folks make it out for the Maker Faire in May?

The museum is also still doing live demonstrations of Babbage's mechanical Difference Engine. Apparently Nathan Myhrvold loaned it to the museum "for a year". But that was five years ago, and he hasn't asked for it back yet...
