Hello,
I'm looking to use the FSR sold by adafruit in an application where it will sit on top of bicycle handle bars, and will be sandwiched/held in place via bicycle handlebar wrap. The FSR will experience a constant pressure because of this, and so I'm wondering if this pressure will over time damage the FSR. Is there something you'd suggest I use instead of an FSR?
Thanks!
FSR and constant pressure

Re: FSR and constant pressure
Under the bar-tape shouldn't be much of a problem since the pressure will be distributed. You might see some drift in the baseline readings over time. What is the application?

Re: FSR and constant pressure
Thanks!
The FSR will be connected to an Arduino Uno. Once the FSR is in place I'll see what the constant analog value is and adjust the sketch so analog values greater than that will indicate use.
