Hi,
I have a project that requires an inverter to light up the EL wire when there is actually NO sound present. So when there is sound present the lights go out and go on again when the sound stops. I am totally stuck at the moment! I'm not too great with electronic circuitry and stuff, but am eager to learn! Do I need to buy something separate that will perform this function, or can I modify the 6v sound activated pocket inverter to do this somehow?
I would really appreciate any help on this!
Many thanks for your time.
Can I reverse the function on EL Wire sound activated pocket inverter?

I doubt you can modify that easily. You would probably need to dig into the circuitry and that would not be a beginner project. I am not sure the best way to make this however. Maybe you need two seperate parts, a pocket inverter and a sound trigger with an inverted output. Hopefully some clever person can explain how to do that!
