Okay to use PN532 Breakout board as open source HW?

Post by papyrus »

Hi Ladyada,

Can't thank you enough for your contributions to the NFC development community, your PN532 breakout board fill such a need in the market it's great! I just wanted to confirm that you've sold the board under an open source licence since I am want to use the antenna design you did as a template in my early layouts for my projects(great job FYI- better performance than the NXP demo board actually).

Is it okay if the PN532 Breakout board is used as a template design?

Love your company, congrats and keep it up!

Awesome, thanks! What's new in v 1.4 of the board? I have v1.3.

According to the designer, just some routing/layout revisions. No functional changes to the board.
