I bought a powerswitch tail 2 and it doesn't work. After some investigation, I found out that there is no copper in the socket side of the tail (where you plug in the thing being switched on/off) except for the ground pin. So, when I plug in the load, the hot and neutral pins have no electrical connection to anything. It's as if the manufacturer simply forgot to put the copper in the hot and neutral holes in the socket, but remembered the copper in the grounding pin hole. The control circuitry in the tail seem to work fine -- the LED lights up and I can hear the relay click, but the load never receives power.
Anyone else seen this? Anyone know what I can do to get a replacement?
Thanks!
