I have a bike trailer for my 19 month old son, (http://www.chariotcarriers.com/en/US/Pr ... X-2-Copper) and would like to add a few features:
rear lights - I'm thinking amber EL wire around both sides, and red encircling the rear frame
Buttons to keep him entertained - A few buttons to play different noises, Dixie, police/ambulance/fire truck sirens, and KITT's strobe noise. Perhaps a few others?
Ideally I'd like to add some white front lights, but not so bright as to blind me when I look back to make sure he is still there, so perhaps white EL tape again.
Extra options could include a G sensor to make brake lights come on when I slow down, and perhaps a speed display on the inside so he can tell me off when i'm going too slow. If I did this I'd rather implement using GPS, and have the routes logged than fit a wheel sensor and calibrate it.
I'd also be interested in adding spokePOV kit, but the wheels might be too small.
The extent of my electronics skill so far is making a TVBgone, so if anyone can suggest how I can go about all of this, and what I'll need I'd be very grateful. if you follow the trailer link you'll understand that I won't have any issues with finding enough space for a fairly hefty battery pack to run everything for the 2-3 hours max I'll be out in any one journey.
All suggestions gratefully received.
