Though hole neopixels
Can these be used in a POV project?

The Neopixel refresh-rate is a little slow for POV. It can work, but it is not ideal.

I haven't tested this yet, but the 8mm type -might- work a -little- better for POV than the strips, reason being the diffused cap. This tends to mask PWM dithering, unless the LEDs are whipping around really fast.
