Stepper Motor Generator

Post by ndamen3 »

Hello Adafruit!

I am working on a stepper motor generator that will eventually work its way into a backpack. I have a rectified circuit for stepper so the voltage is all positive (or zero). I am planning on charging a Lipo with the solar lipo charger from Adafruit. I am getting about 0-7 volts and at a current of 400mA about every other second. Would the Solar Lipo be able to still charge a lipo even though the voltage is shifting so quickly?

Regards!

The Solar LiPo charger has a BFC on the input to help smooth out the input voltage. It should be able to handle your generator.
