Furthermore, assuming you have effective heat exchangers on both the hot and cold sides, the peltier junction will stabilize at a fixed temperature differential. So the cooler you can keep the hot side, the cooler the cold side will be also.
Will it be more effective if I would rather install it by the window with the hot end outside with the cold inside the room? With this, I think, that as the computer will be blowing hot air outside, the peltier device would be sucking, and therefor blowing, cold air unto the room. I would then have one of each installed symmetrically from each other.
