Hi there!
I am not sure this is the right forum but I'm sure I'll find a lot of battery fans here.
My Nook Simple Touch (not glow) has a dead battery.
I would like to buy the biggest one you have in store (probably this: https://www.adafruit.com/products/328).
I've opened it and I've found 6 (!) cables soldered to the battery.
Two are red(ish) and should be p+
Two are black and should be p-
The other ones are green and yellow and I can't read well but it looks like they're soldered to TH and to TO (or maybe IO)...
What is that?
Can I use adafruit LIPO or I'm forced to buy a compatible one?
Thanks for all the help!

Re: Buy a lipo battery for my Nook
The TH and TO lines are probably connected to a thermistor or other temperature sensor. Many LiPo chargers measure the cell temperature as they go because that's a good indicator of problems.
Gram for gram, LiPo cells hold about as much stored energy as gunpowder. Making the wrong connections or charging them the wrong way can start a very energetic fire.
Before you look at replacement hardware, check around to learn exactly what kind of hardware you need. iFixit might have a Nook teardown with information you can use.
