Hi! I want to design a layout for some switches, jacks, LEDs, panel meters, etc. on the front of my project box. Is there any (free) software to help me with this?

I don't know of any, all I can think of is http://www.abacom-online.de/uk/html/frontdesigner.html which is not free.
In the past I have used Inkscape, not specifically for front panels but a fairly good, free, vector graphics program.
