Hello,
Sorry for a noob question, but Is there a rule of thumb about how much 1.5 V batteries a Flora or Gemma project can handle as a power source?
I guess I'm curious about how much batteries (if a typical battery has 1.5 V) can be connected to a Flora (or a Gemma) board without burning out the circuit board.
Because I have a few projects where I have Flora/Gemma boards connected with lots of lights (LED Sequins in one project, Flora Pixels in another, NeoPixel Rings in another, etc.) and want to be sure not to provide to much power/current to ruin it, or do the Flora/Gemma boards handle extra volt current by themselves if I have to many batteries in the battery pack connected to it?

Re: Battery Question for LED Projects
In one of the tutorials it says 3.5 to 9VDC. If you plan to power large loads you should power them directly from the batteries with proper voltage regulation and use a relay, transistor or mosfet for switching.
