i recently got a hold of a broken Galaxy note 10.1 bluetooth keyboard case. the case was a goner but the the keyboard still works. so i was wondering if i could remover the components and install it in a normal keyboard.
I have done some digging and found the "Convert your Model M Keyboard to Bluetooth with Bluefruit EZ-Key HID" project and got some info but still dont know it this will work or is this idea just a g!%&se chase. (why is the common name of Branta canadensis banned spam words )
info and problems i've found so far:
[*]the bluetooth board is powered by a 3.7v 350mAh battery
[*]the bluetooth chip is the BCM20730 - Broadcom bluetooth 3.0
[*] the bluetooth board was connected to the original keyboard by a FFC cable with a 28 pin 1mm pitch
if i simply connected the keyboard though the FFC connectors (some how) will the bluetooth board be able to send the data to a complete and be useable?
