Beta is not the whole story, as has been mentioned elsewhere, the 2SA733(AP)'s I use are the original transistors made in Japan by NEC. They would be from a different transistor die than the 2SA733(P)'s, and therefore have a different sound (in theory); the 733p's are usually made by Fairchild. If anyone does want all high gain 2SA733(P)'s instead, they can have those as I still have some left. I don't bother mentioning these anymore, as everyone wanted the original 2SA733(AP)'s like in the real TB303, as it is closer to the original.
Note also these kits are at a very low price, the cheapest ever as I have found parts cheaper, I have passed this on. Also if I put the 2SA733(P)'s on here as well, there will then be 8 variations of the kits, as it is, it has been confusing to people looking for parts from me. Basically you only need Q8, Q9 and Q10 with a Hfe more than 320, the rest of the gains don't really matter. Also some like to do a 'Q11 mod' which is a 2SC945(P), so I include this also as an extra in the kits with 2SC536(F)'s, as the ones with 2SC945(P)'s have a 2SC945(P) as Q11 already.
To make your own x0xb0x the 'Rare' parts are here: viewtopic.php?f=29&t=5526
