Occidentalis v0.2 - Torrent

by MrZhi on Tue Oct 09, 2012 2:53 am

I wasn't all too sure where I should post this since, it's a semi-sorta Adafruit product. Anywho, I just downloaded Occidentalis v0.2 and noticed there were no torrents for it, so I went ahead and made one.

we would prefer not to have a torrent so that people don't download old or possibly 'modified' versions. we have s3 hosting, its very fast and thousands have downloaded it :)

My apologies about that. I'll take it down when I get home this evening.

Hello,

Found this post-thread while looking for a torrent for Occidentalis v0.2; Sounds like a nice, fast server setup. Unfortunately the download is only as fast as its slowest link. I'm literally half-way around the world, living in a land of dial-up speeds. 7k/sec is the norm in the tent. Needless to say, I'm not having much luck with the download. Would it be possible to send in a SD card and get the download file put on it? Or to buy a SD card with the download file on it, instead of Wheezy? Thank you for your time.

I'm told that we will begin selling pre-loaded SD cards soon. I don't have an exact timeframe, so please be patient!
