Arduino Leonardo as raspberry pi keyboard mouse?

If I plug an Arduino Leonardo into a Raspberry Pi USB port, can I use the mouse and keyboard libraries of the Leonardo to send mouse and keyboard commands to the Pi? Would I need a special driver on the Pi end?

it should 'just work' - but we're not sure anyone's tried it yet!

Was looking for an answer to this question before I invested in the device but I decided to go ahead and buy it anyway. I was successfully able to use Leonardo to send mouse and keyboard commands to the raspberry. This is great news because I use my Leonardo as a special input device because I've got a physical disability.
