I am looking to see if anybody can give me a bit of help with dimensions/fit.
I am thinking about trying to jam on of the RTC breakout boards into a Pibow so that its available all the time and safe inside the case.
Based on the pictures around the interwebs it looks like it should be possible, but I'd love to get some input from anyone who has both items on hand before I order things up.
Thanks.
chris.

Re: DS1307 breakout board kit and the Pibow?
Hello PyjamaSam!
There isn't enough clearance in the PiBow for adding those wee RTC boards -- the PiBox hug around the Pi fairly snugly and the RTC modules we offer, while small, are too thick for that particular case. It might be possible to cut more layers and source your own nylon bolts to create a custom solution, but the off the shelf solution would be to attach the RTC to the outside of the PiBow and carefully route wiring into the case for minimum wear and tear.
Thanks,
Matt

Thanks for the reply Matt.
I'll keep digging for cases that might fit. Having the RTC on the outside doesn't work that well form my application.
