xoxbox problem ableton

Hi,
I've set my xoxbox in midi play mode. everything works fine and plays in sync with my beats, but it's like the sound comes out of the midi track(??) and not from my audio track I've created (ext in). Also when I adjust the master of ableton the xoxbox stays at the same volume. So I have to adjust the volume on the xoxbox. I've tried everything I think but nothing seems to help. It's like my midi channel is monitoring or something.

You can't change the volume through midi, and I'm not sure why this would be a problem?

I'm also not sure what you mean with your first issue - you mean you can't hear the audiofile you've recorded?

Hi xonec,

I don't know if I understood your problem correctly, but for me it sounds that your "monitoring" is switched on on your audio-in device!
Look on your audio-device if there is a hardware-switch for direct monitoring!
Switch it off to only hear the recording-signal in Ableton.
