Broken Micro SD card reader

The the micro sd card reader included in the Raspberry Pi accessory kit has fallen apart. I received my pi this past Wednesday and the second time I placed a card into the reader the inner section separated from the rest. I am unable to get the now two pieces to hold together, as so much as picking up the reader causes them to separate again. Any help would be appreciated.

I can't quite picture what you're describing. Can you post a picture showing the damaged part?
