I've added captions to Circuit Playground, Episode 1

Post by ubuntourist »

Hi,

I've just finished captioning episode 1. You'll find the captions for "A is for Ampere" at:

http://www.amara.org/en/videos/jNpMv8S1 ... episode-1/

I couldn't quite catch the names of the characters in the opening credits, nor M. Ampere's French at the very end.

Amara (nee Universal Subtitles) is an open source crowdsourced subtitling project. The captions are downloadable in several formats, and there's a bit of scriptery available on the site allowing you to embed the above link in another page.

Have fun kids.

Cool! Thanks!

"Zut alors!", I believe. A French expletive mild enough to not require deletion.

Yep.. "zut alors!" translates roughly to "good heavens!" or "oh my gosh!"
