Mac USB driver problem

I am using my macbook pro with my minipov.

I am using the same minipov +usb-serial talked about viewtopic.php?f=11&t=16093 involving windows 7 and still unresolved.

Right now, my problem is the usb-serial driver on the mac. I installed the suggested one from the mac instructions but my usb-serial is not showing up in terminal.

Oh, and the disk that ladyada gave me with the usb-serial was corrupted, nothing on it worked (when trying to install on my xp). (macbook pro does not like mini disk, they get stuck in the drive...)

I need some kind of help, i really want to program my minipov.

I also checked for continuity throughout my minipov, everything is looking good.

As for my macbook pro I need some suggestions?

Having a driver problem and the driver that came with the usb-serial not working is annoying, I am not looking for getting money back (unless it never works) but for getting it to work on something
