Which to buy?

Post by morehpperliter »

I have been lurking here for a bit looking other places as well. Which laser do I go with?

Can I cut and engrave with the same tool?

hello

I just got my laser a few days ago. I got an epilog. I went with epilog because of their good reputation and their location in relation to me. I was looking at other lasers. It worried me that some of them were not made in this country. It also worried me that some of these businesses were FAR away from me (PA to TX for example) and did not have people anywhere near me. What if something went wrong? You'll want to look at those things, and also, what kind of warranty do they offer? There aren't many parts to a laser, but they sure are expensive parts to replace if you are out of warranty.

I live in Ohio. So alot of places are close enough for me. And epilog seems to have a decent reputation.
